How it compares
A launch means nothing against no one. These are the launches it is actually comparable to, and where this one sits among them.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Product news the same kind of announcement | 769 | 805K | 12.9x | 39 |
| over 100K followers accounts of a similar size | 611 | 1.4M | 7.5x | 70 |

What this launch shows
Moonshot AI posted this from an account with 359K followers and reached 29 times that many people. The usual multiple for over 100K followers is 2.4.
This one did 11.9 times that. It ranks 70 of 611 launches from accounts that size. Against every launch in the directory it sits at 15.1 times the median of 688K views.
Likes led, 31K at 29.4 per 10,000 views against a median of 26.8, with the heavier signals closer to usual: 7K bookmarks, 746 replies, 953 quotes. A like is a reaction.
The post was enjoyed more than it was kept. One bookmark for every 4.4 likes is a low ratio for a launch, and reads as entertainment more than intent.
The post opens with “Meet Kimi K3”. It carries a 57-second video against a directory median of 65 seconds.
Videos between 30 and 90 seconds have a median of 603K views in the directory. The copy runs 4 words, shorter than a launch post here, where the median is 41.
The body carries a link, so the post had somewhere to send the reader and paid a little reach for it. It went out on a Thursday. Launches posted on a Thursday have a median of 724K views in the directory, and Friday is the strongest day at 880K.
What viral AI launches share covers this: model launches are the largest category in the directory and travel on the demo. For the next one, read X analytics explained: what each of these numbers means, with benchmarks by account size. Every launch we track in Frontier Lab is on that vertical's directory page.
